Happy 1/2 year to me! Can you even believe I'm six months old?!?!
Let's get to the stats first. I had my six month check-up on the 27th and I am now weighing 16.1 pounds and am 25.5 inches long. My big 'ol head also grew another 1/4 inch. I now have two bottom teeth and Mom thinks she feels a top tooth trying to break through. I'm very secretive with my teeth though. If you try to peek at them, I just push my tongue over them. Maybe one day soon, I'll let Mom get a picture...maybe. I continue to try out new foods and have yet to find a food I don't like! I'm starting to get the hang of sitting up by myself and actually am starting to prefer sitting up over tummy time. I continue to explore with my hands and can pick up and move objects from hand to hand. I even occasionally drop things on purpose to see Mom and Dad quickly pick them up...suckers. I love music and I love when Mom and Dad dance and sing with me. Jack continues to be one of my best friends. Whenever I see him (and most other dogs), I can't take my eyes off of him and I smile and laugh when he comes near me. I continue to love reading as well. I have Mom read me several books a night, and we read in the car sometimes too. I also have finally gotten tall enough to jump and jump and jump in my jumperoo...it is so fun!
