8 Months...FINALLY!!!!

Wow.  So Mom is a total slacker!  In her defense though, Dad brought home a cold that we all got weeks ago and Mom still has it and much worse than what we had!  Not to mention, I've started crawling!  I keep Mom and Dad pretty busy these days!

Now, for what you've all been waiting almost a month for!

I'm Eight Months Old!!!

As I mentioned, I've started crawling!  At first, I was very secretive about who I would let see me crawl.  I mostly crawl when I really want something, like a favorite toy or Jack!  I want Jack!  I just want to pet him and play with his toys, but every time I get close, he runs away, which prompts me to go after him.  So thanks Jack for teaching me to crawl!  In addition to my new found skill, I'm a professional sitter and I can go from sitting to crawling with no problems.  My other profession is being a pig!  I LOVE to eat!  You name it, I want to eat it.  If you're eating, you better hope you have something for me to eat too, or I'm just going to stare and lick my lips while you eat.  If you don't feed me enough, oh, don't worry, I'll let you know.  Eating is also so much easier when you now have SIX TEETH!  Four on top and still two cute little ones on the bottom.  They are fun to have and I enjoy flicking the straw of my sippy cup with them and watch water fly everywhere!  I continue to charm everyone and have now included clapping and waving to my ever growing list of cuteness.  I have been continuing in my mission to talk and sing.  I love to experiment with my voice and the different sounds and pitches I can make.  I of course still love to read and have  begun to bounce up and down to the sound of music. In the next month (which is soon), I hope to have really mastered crawling and pulling myself up.  I'm also curious to see what else I will be able to conquer now that I am getting stronger.  Who knows!

  1. What great pictures! (The whole idea of the chair and owl was terrific, Jenn!) I loved that you partly blamed crawling for your late pictures. It is true that crawling opens up a whole new world for them, but it completely flips yours upside down, too! Good luck keeping up!
