This is it folks! This will be my last monthly post in the under one club!!! Mom is freaking out! HAHA! This month has been huge...I know I said last month was my strong month...nope! This past month has been! I can go from crawling, to sitting, to pulling myself up! I haven't quite got the skills for walking yet, but I do love to stand up and am so proud of myself once I am standing! With all of these new found skills, I find myself practicing all the time, even when I should be sleeping! Rejoice fellow parents, I am finally becoming a brat in the sleep department keeping my parents up while I practice and practice! Don't get too excited Mom says. I do manage to keep myself entertained, but my entertainment provides the same for my parents who just can't keep their eyes off the monitor while they see what new tricks I learn or cautiously anticipate a jump out of the crib! Which, as mentioned in the previous post, they lowered my crib. WAY down. Now, I have to start all over! I'm not deterred though...I'll get out of there! Just before Mother's Day, I started saying "Mum, Mum, Mum!" Mom was really excited for this until Dad used it to his advantage..."but he's asking for you!" Speaking of Dad, I just love him. We share a special bond, "man code" if you will. I love sitting on his shoulders, playing cars, doing guy stuff! It's awesome! My love for Jack, of course has not faltered and he actually plays with me now. He chases me, I chase him, he talks to me, I laugh at him. One perk of my crib being lower, is that now when Jack comes to wake me up in the morning, he's right there! I just stick my hand through the railing and he's there with a lick! I continue to be a great eater and have been eating mostly "people food" with a few "baby" food items here and there. My love for books and baths and stroller rides continues to grow strong. I love to play in the water and would take a million baths a day if my fingers and toes didn't look like raisins! I go on several stroller rides a day and sometimes, I don't want to get out of the stroller. So it's not uncommon to see me sitting in the kitchen, in my stroller! My reading skills continue to develop and I actually just yesterday, crawled over to my bookshelf and pulled out a few books on my own and started flipping pages. I'm so smart, that I even put them back on the shelf when I was done! In the next month, I look forward to taking a few steps, saying a few new words and look VERY forward to my very first piece of cake!
Photo Time! Mom would like to note, that as the months have gone by, these photo shoots have gotten a lot shorter! Sorry, Ma! I'm curious and busy! I don't have time to sit and be cute for long! Gotta Go!
Do I still have to do this when I'm one?!
That's all! Gotta Go!
He's getting so BIG! I'm hoping to see Sean in person in July. It looks like I'll be there for a short trip around the 15th! I love this post. Thanks for sharing all of your fun new adventures!
